Validating Files with Digimarc

Validating files enhanced with Digimarc Barcode requires a specific set of quality check (QC) tools and knowledge to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Digimarc Barcode is maintained throughout the premedia and printing process. The QC process ensures the print sample (or image) meets the following conditions:

• The GTIN information carried by the Digimarc Barcode matches the GTIN information carried by the package’s traditional product code and
• There is only one GTIN present in the package’s artwork.

Both conditions must be met before plates are produced or a package goes to press for production printing.
