Enhancement techniques for process colors and images
About:
Best used when some parts of the image do not contain cyan, but do contain black (e.g. carrots)
Method:
Blended technique where both CMY and MYK methods are combined
Strength:
7, Minimum Dot (min dot) 1
Options:
This technique is considered the default as it covers the majority of image compositions
About:
Best used when cyan has more coverage and contrast compared to black. This is also preferred when not changing the black separation
Method:
Adjustment to cyan, magenta and yellow in combination
Strength:
5, Minimum Dot (min dot) 1
About:
Best used when the black has more coverage and contrast compared to cyan
Method:
Adjustment to magenta, yellow and black in combination
Strength:
7, Minimum Dot (min dot) 1
About:
Best used when cyan isn’t available; this technique avoids registration issues on press
Method:
Adjustment to the black ink only
Strength:
3, Minimum Dot (min dot) 2
Options:
If available, cyan can be used instead of black
