Desktop Verify for macOS

The Digimarc Verify application enables you to assess a press-ready digital image or scan a print sample.
- Data accuracy: Validate the GTIN information carried by the Digimarc digital watermark matches the GTIN information carried by the package’s traditional product code and that there is only one GTIN present in the package’s artwork.
- Signal fidelity: Verify the quality of the digital watermark signal for
- predictive use at prepress to estimate how it will perform when printed
- checking press output samples to ensure they scan as expected/predicted
System Requirements
These requirements pertain to the latest version.
- macOS 13 or 14
- Multicore Intel or ARM-based processor with 64-bit support
- 16 GB RAM recommended
- 100 MB of available hard-disk space for installation
- Epson Perfection v39 flatbed scanner *
- An active internet connection **
Warning
Don't install Verify on a removable flash storage device.
* Required only if you scan print samples for verification.
** Required for full functionality.

- Added a new cover page to the Enhancement Report for Application Ratings, which assess a package’s press-ready, digital artwork file for expected performance in typical usage. The ratings are on a scale from 0 to 5 stars, with 5 being the best. Digimarc Verify assesses four applications: Barcode Scanning, Mobile Engagement, Robot Monitoring for supply chain and inventory control, and Manufacturing for package inspection use in manufacturing lines. Ratings for each application can be turned on or off in the Preferences menu.
- Improved support for cylinders, including partially wrapped label regions, selection of default front and wrap direction (vertical, horizontal).
