08 July 2022 127 Views

The Digimarc Barcode for Digital Images plug-in is a tool for encoding and reading images.

Step 1: Download the Digimarc Barcode for Digital Images plug-in at Adobe Exchange or the Digimarc Images module. Follow the prompts to complete the download.

(Note: you must be signed into your user account with an active enterprise images subscription to access the images module.)

Step 2: After it is downloaded, the plug-in auto-installs in Photoshop. Depending on your system configuration, you may need to drag and drop the contents of the downloaded folder into the following path on your hard drive:

Note: {YEAR} is your version of Adobe Photoshop.

Step 3: Restart Photoshop.

Step 4: To start enhancing, load an image into Photoshop and go to Filters > Digimarc > Embed Watermark.

Note: If the Digimarc filter is grayed out, make sure the image you loaded is in a supported color format. Go to Image > Mode and set the mode to RGB or CMYK Color and 8 Bits/Channel.

Step 5: On the Digimarc for Images screen, click Personalize.

Step 6: Enter your Digimarc ID and PIN to make sure your images are enhanced with your information.
