How Can We Help You Today?

What do you consider a SKU? For example, the labels on the front and back? Is it one or two licenses?

09 April 2021

A SKU is the product identification code often portrayed as a machine-readable bar code that helps track the item for inventory or other applications. In general, the fees track codes that are specific to a media object. In the case of an inspection system for component parts of a product where each component has a unique ID, each ID would require a license fee. These fees are application specific and, thus, require some discussion. Where all aspects of the product have the same ID, as in GTIN for product identification, the answer is simple and straightforward. A multipack with a separate GTIN is clear; they are different products, different SKUs.
