Why Digimarc-enable multiple channels?

If you are a retailer with one song playing in your store, you could have different messaging broadcast to different departments without any noticeable transition in sound.

A simple way to demonstrate this feature is via two-channel stereo. Export each audio channel separately into its own audio file. For stereo, you would have two audio files; one for the left channel and one for the right. Create two new audio Digimarc Barcodes in the Digimarc Barcode Manager – one for each file – with each having a unique payoff URL, banner message, etc…

Download the Digimarc-enabled files and reassemble them in your audio editing software, each filling only one channel. After exporting the re-assembled track to one file, the left channel and right channel will produce distinct experiences in a Digimarc Discover-enabled app, as long as the speakers are at least 12” (30cm) apart.
